Well here's a positive way to start the new year.... Thanks Eskom....

"When:                            Sunday,  01 January 2012 from 08:00 to 17:00

Areas Affected:             Whole TOWN and MINING AREA

Reason:                         Urgent repairs at ESKOM substation
Please inform all relevant personnel in your areas who need to know about this interruption.
Pumping section and areas making use of generators must ensure that diesel tanks are filled up.

Please treat all power outlets as live for the duration of the shutdown. Power may be restored earlier than scheduled.
