Road to be tarred?

Yawn! Again? Yawn!

I heard from a prominent politician this fine morning that the Minister of Works & Transport had mentioned in  a recent meeting that the road from Rosh Pinah to Oranjemund would be tarred soon. This to go in conjunction with the building of the High School......

Heard this morning that there was a chap in the SPAR that had just come from the North Bank Road where he was carrying out GPS Surveying for submitting a tender to tar the road.

At $7.7 million per Km , I wonder where the money is coming from?

It will be a  most excellent thing if the road get's tarred, but I will wait till the first piece of tar hits the desert floor....
