Local Crime Climbs?

Heard that there was a meeting with the local law enforcers  and am led to  believe that their has been a definite upsurge in crime in our little town. Now I am not sure if the figures will be communicated to the local population, but sources say that house burglaries are on the upswing, seem's certain people are in the know when you are outta town.....

Pundits are at a loss on why the upswing has occurred with some citing the large presence of road contractors in the town, other's pointing out the ever increasing unemployed youth...... one can only but wonder, where we shall be once the gates are opened.....

That is exactly the problem Mike A. You did not grow up in an "Open Town".
You never grew up with crime out in the open.
As soon as these gates open, it is gone with the last piece of heaven.
Gonna be one sad day thou, because I came from the "Wild West" into this heaven......and it is going to be gone soon.

Ja boet i am afraid thats the way we are going,but people must just be more aware of their surroundings, see why your neigbours dog is barking,lock your gates,install alarms,cameras,the stuff is there to be utilised,and the least of all ,get somebody to stay in your house while you are on leave........but do not inform a lot of people that you are going away....

I am happy to report that one of the" handsak grypers" has been arrested for trying to take of with my daughters handbag ,needless to say he was arrested by detectives from the Oranjemund branch who just happened to be in the right place.Then some of the persons family tried to persuade her to withdraw the case,as he was on the verge of applying for a job at Namdeb.....sorry mate the lady is not going to withdraw the case and you are not going to work for Namdeb ...tata...

He should be glad he is in Africa.
Some countries chop off those stealing claws. 
They know nothing will happen to them, and that is why they will continue with crime.
Said grader will go sit in jail, and you the victim is going to feed him, give him time and money to educate himself as a lawyer.
And when he get out, he is going to work for the government and change the constitution to the ruling parties need.
All one sick cycle.....

So maybe its time we tie them to the centre pole in town,chuck a few ounces of syrup over him and voila the stray dogs have pudding....

Stray dogs don't eat crap.

Same centre pole in town and me with a punga.
I won't even ask for a salary............after the first 3 they will quickly catch on.
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO STEAL WITHOUT HANDS.....
