Karneval in Deutschland

This time of year many people live only for the carneval.
Important is being laod, loads of alcehol, plenty of flirting, little sleep.
This goes on (at lest in this year) till the5th of Febuary. Then comes the time getting prepared for easter. No fun. No noise. No alcehol. No sweets. No s**. Everybody sticks to these rules. ;)

Almost every town has an Umzug. Whatever that's called in english. Floats, dressed up people, musicians, dancers ect. pass by. They throw sweets, chocolates, rolls ect into the crowd. Some just fill you up with beer, wine and obviously schnaps.
Now here's my first link. They call this "guggeles Musik". You'll see why you have to be drunk to take this.lol

Gout schmout! I'm almost cured.... I have'nt had a drink for almost 30 days..... but the big test is looming with Jimmy's wedding and the old timers back in town this weekend!

Well done Michael. But I don't think you can ever be realy cured. This means, if you get back to the old habits the gout get's back to you...

With all the beer I have consumed over the last 20 years , one would have expected those crystals to be pissed out by now, but not a klink!  maybe all the beer was actually good for flushing my body out!
