Just a memory...

Diana Rudd (Boehme)

Another memory,   Zandy taught me in Std4 and Std5 then moved on to be my "down down" Manager in the mid 70's.

As a matter of interest Michael are those "Honours" type boards still up in the Cricket Club just wondered as Stephens name appears quite a bit on it.
O.P.S -1969, Springfield Convent -1970, Holy Cross Convent-1972., Centaurus-1974
I got around.

Does anyone remember the back to school party we had at the hockey club There should be photos about of that. We had to eat jam sandwiches. I remember Susan and Debbie Wallace dressed as school boys and had caterpults, and had a fight over some girls. Zandy punished them

I remember Zandy. He was the headmaster at OPS during my time. He really knew how to swing a cane! God bless him.

Bradley Palmer

He was our std 5 (1983) Geography teacher and shame he must of thought that we were not going to make it.  I remember him asking "what happens to time" and 10 minutes later we finally by chance gave the answer "changes", what a struggle

Wow, he hasn't changed a bit. It's funny how some adults just seem old when you're a kid (even if at that time they were barely in their thirties). For me Zandhuis is one of them and when I see him now, 30 years later, not only do I realise that he wasn't 'old' back then, he is one of those people who just never changes. I would recognise him anywhere. What a great teacher he was.

I know this is and old subject now but YIP ! he was my teacher/rugby coach way back in '68 & '69. Then I saw him again in '79 when I returned to work at No 2 Plant. Niel Bennet re-introed me while he was sipping beers at the Cricket Club one evening. I wonder how he is doing now ? Julian
