Bombastic ? no .. its just that if you lookaround .. many  of the cool kids have just faded .. they had  their moment .. we  get "older but indeed wiser" so  its then its now our time to make our mark ???
In afrikaans they say " vroeg ryp vroeg vrot "  .. ok better shut my trap now ..  just got back home had a good time ..  slightly dronk and off to  bed  I go ........
@ Georg snr .. yes you always there .. and  more  importantly so as  a  moderator .....

SEE  NOTHING  AS  IMPOSSIBLE ........
Well  the  Braai  at  Lenores  went  well  it  was good  to  see the Whatleys again ... the  pics  are  sort of  blurry ( dont know why ) so will sort   through and  post  later ..  On  the  subject of   seeing  nothing  as  impossible ... my painting  appie  Sipho I  mentioned  earlier here  ...today I am putting  fascia boards up on the one  side of  garden  cover ,  so I said to Sipho  yetserday we  were  going  to  do  a  challenge .. painting  a  roof is  hot  work but  basically easy and  he  is  willing  , only  problem is  mobility with one  arm and  a  leg ..  if  he  could  get  over  then he has  the job , gauranteed  weekend  work .. this  morning  I  set up  the multi  ladder .. with a  smal  amount  of  assistance he got  over  and onto  the  roof , now  very  happy   as he  is  challenging  the  limitations of  his disability > I originally offered the roof job to  an   unemployed but able bodied youngster from  the area .. nah  not  interested ... I  think Sipho  puts people  like him to  shame .. he  got  on  with painting  the  flat  roof  and  i  could  get  on  with  my other  work ..its now  midday  hot  and  he  has  clambered  over again  unassisted  , testing  the limits ..  ..  its  now  time  for  lunch  and  when its  a bit  cooler back  over  he  will  go ... I post the pic ..

No  just throw  a patty on  the  roof at the  height of  midday  sun .. it  will fry  very  well ...  any sane  person in SA will  avoid midday  heat .. all that  energy and all   we  have  to  do is  find  a  very  efficient way  of  harvesting  it  and  we  dont have to  rely upon eksdom hey ?? the  wooden  grid is  there to sit  on  so that  one  does  not end up  frying  oneself ..
