We always referred to the as the 7 sisters..... According to Sue Hodgson, they were in fact called Stonehenge and were placed there by Hans Kuhnel, The Plumber Foreman in the early 70's.... Does anyone know more about why these rocks were placed here....

Thanks to Aunty Sue... for the topic....

I know them  as 7  sisters  as  well . I think  all  that  were  born  in the  70  s know  them as  7 sisters .
If  you  were  around  before  then  then you  will know  them  as  rocks  and Stonehedge .

Here's a photo of the Rocks. Wasn't the police station at the house just on the corner of the street, just opposite the rocks?

Mike - yes, this is one of the photos I took thate day in November '04 when I secretly entered Oranjemund, walked around town like a Japenese tourist snapping shots at every corner, had lunch, visited the library and the school, photographed the swimming pool, etc, with no one seeing me ...  iknow
