Spring is coming

Our landscape was wight cause of hail!!!

Your spring starting, our autumn starting and from a few chilly days we have had lately, it feels like we could have an early starting, long-lasting cold winter. Hubby is worried the frost is going to come before the potatoes are ready.

This is what it looked like down our road on Friday after only 5 minutes of hail. After that it snowed for about 15 minutes. (big flakes) By an hour all was gone. At night we had frost again.
If you take a close look you can see the hail jumping up of the ground...

This is the famous German "Autobahn". Most parts we still have no speed limit. So sometimes you'll see people passing you with a Porsch or Ferrari at a speed of 200 - 250kmh. I know of people driving there motorcycle up to about 300kmh. THIS IS A NORMAL ROAD!!
Well I only wanted to show the snow. It's a pity you can't see much of it.

Summer is definately on its way for us here. We hit 36 degrees today It's gonna be a hot one again this year

Well Oranjemund is sitting on 31 degrees today.... and we're meant to be heading into winter....mmmh! Maybe I should braai tonight....
