Yes Georg lots of good restaurants and lots of good  dining experiences as well   ..   me just always looking around for new .. and as  said importantly would like to see  .. any new venture in my area  succeed .. nice to amble down on foot  and have a  reasonable to good meal ..  so  far we got  Don P .. going since  91 ( not as good as when original owner had it  but still going )  frangipanis .. daytime only .. jamaica me crazy .. ok ..  Woodstcok lounge  pizza  mainly but nice and laid back ..   chandani  .. good indian cuisine ..  Emilys used to be down the road but since relocated to   waterfront ..  and of course  the  new  possibly  doomed  seafood place  where emilys used to be ,,   quay 4  is a nice venue  especially sitting outside on a good summers day ..  equally nice is ocean basket in kloof st outside again on a good summers evening in the courtyard  under the trees ..

In fact dining in SA was always a highlight, just almost good memories

Oh what a night....I went to a 21st last night; and of course - needless to say - ended up in a 'lock in'...........
whoo! Hoo! what craic - At closing time, the bar emptied - or should I say almost emptied - the dukebox was blaring and the drink was freeeeee - we chatted and sang; drank and danced and then it was time to go home - 06:30 in the moorning we dragged our  from the pub and crawled into our beds!!! Tired little puppies but laughing and giggling...........and guys, you would of been so proud of me - I was 'Designate Dessie' (designated driver) - and so not one drop of alcohol passed my lips! Man - I could tell ye some stories, but the law states 'What happens on tour, stays on tour' and so all of ye that were dancing around the bar until 06:30 - your secret is safe with me!!!

Ello Ello !  me poppd in .. really been a grey day here .. locked myself into home  lit a fire and  did alternating rounds of  just wandering around ,  reading , watching telly , sleeping .. ( rest  good to  shake off the last of this damm flu .. )  went to asian restaurant in Obs to get a chilli fix  and back home ..  I phoned the owner of my disasterous dining experience last night ..  she was initially   slightly defensive  ( just had baby and   now  overextended , that i understand )  .. but I won her over  to what i was  saying ..  so i wait and see .. go back in a month or two  ..  so  whats to drink seeing that me still fired and not  reinstated  ??

Cool .. snugggle up like two tired  kittens  and  wander off into dreamland ..   tomorrows a public holiday here so i can lay in late again  .. the cleaners must just  clean around me   Mmmmm ..  just hope to godness Diana doesnt get second wind and arrive cos then she gonna kick our buts into  reluctant  wakefulness ..   maybe we install bouncer  at door ??
