The German army in Afghanistan is not at war with anybody. They are there to protect civilians and the coinstitution. A tough job which deserves a hell of a lot respect. Just as the other armies there.
This is also a form of being on our way to a better world. Bringing east and west closer. And in the end prevention of terrorism in the world. Now this doesn't mean things will change tomorrow or in our lifetime. But it's the road to changing things...

Hello  there ..yes quiet .. me just finished doing online booking for Pauline's air ticket .. she will be house sitting for me while i'm away in Thailand in October .. it will be a nice break for her  from dry dusty gauteng .. and  she knows the dog and just ahs to be  schooled  into the watering schedule for the plants  and then I will have no worries while away .. anyhow she  is family and i can legaly throttle her if anything goes wrong ..  so Rhona sittingg hugging her parcel and growling at anyone that comes too close ..
