Sorry guys, I failed miserably in my mission. Drove over early to the Strand, and did some recon. Found Mike's truck (have picture to prove it), but the whole Strand was still asleep.
Unfortunately the block is very secure and no outsiders can enter. Managed to bribe the lady in No.4 of the building to take a parcel for the Alexanders, and she promised to deliver it to them. I wasn't allowed to go up the stairs, and there was no answer on the intercom system (connected to the different apartments). I even phoned the caretaker, who told me to bribe the gentleman in No.7 to let me in for he was currently in CT, but no luck - no answer there, too. Either the whole building only wakes up at lunch, or the intercom system is broken.
OR .... Mike spied my post and read through my plans to take back the booze and sabotaged the electronics of the building to keep me out!!!!

Sorry Mike, Michele, Shanon, Cameron. Would have loved to surprise you, but I couldn't stay any longer - many other commitments the rest of the weekend. Enjoy the parcel - I'm sure you'll sort out what belongs to who in there!!

On your doorstep and yes your concerns are justified .. we all have problems on our doorstep and in our backyards .. and yes trust in politicians is a hard act to follow .. one of the few i trust is our mayor and leader of the DA Hellen Zille , to all extents she seems to have integrity is a hard worker . and does not tolerate slackness from her close staff .. the mess below her she can only try to do damage control .. would love to work for her .. but Georg admit the satirical look at things is good .. takes the edge off the cut and thrust of life ..

Hey, you guys making me blush!!!! What Mike and his family have put in to achieve this great site, and keeping it up with us "old Oranjemunders" always being put first, THEY are the deserving ones who should be praised! I just wanted to show my appreciation, for without them, I would never have made contact with all you great guys and the making my life better than before!
Spoke to Mike just now. Unfortunately we wont be able to get together. Time just doesn't allow it, but I'll make an effort soon.
