Hello everybody, just to let you all know that we are back safe and sound! Had a great but busy time in Cape Town - if Mike had his way we would still be there, but it was time to come home! Bertie - thankyou for the lovely gift - I wish you had gotten the cell no. earlier so that you could have phoned us - we would have loved to have seen you!  - sorry we weren't there long enough to get to see you either, next time we promise it will be a bit longer and we'll get to see everybody!

Now I have to say goodbye so that I can go and change the load of washing - the only downside of being away is catching up on the washing and work - not looking forward to going in to work tomorrow - a weeks worth of work is going to be piled up on my desk for me to sort out!  Luck Mike is off until Thursday - I'll have to find him lots of work to do at home to keep him busy!

Maybe I could make use of  pan and  to get all of my work done for me!

Welcome back!  Everyone has wondered if you lot had decided to stay in CT  -  even the lot on that great ORANGE forum has been wondering where you guys were (you should check out the posts they directed at you Michele).

Hope you had a super duper holiday (I know you had the chequebook in hand, Michele).  The worst part of a holiday is the washing when you get back home.   We should start a range of clothes that can be disgarded after a holiday - think how much money we will make!

My server also seems to be on holiday  -  slow as a snail tonight!  Takes eons to get something posted and can't even type properly.  !!!      drinking-37

CT is great but we're not ready to move down there permanently yet - still love our little oasis in the desert! Even got back to find they are tarring our road today - strange thing is that it wasn't even in bad nick! I wonder who is coming to town that they want to impress!

Of course I had the chequebook in hand, Mike got his pocketmoney to spend and that was it - otherwise he would be in the process of setting up a new flat screen tv!
