We had a lovely warm day today, up to 28 ° C, but i think it will be over soon.....

The last 2 weeks, in France....... all weather experienced, heavy rains, clouds and sunshine. Arriving back home, the weathar improoved again

Looks like the Physics I did 24 years ago paid off!  My electronic gates are working!  Drew my own diagram last night and sorted the wiring out early morning... so proud of myself.  The switches should be in parallel, and the lock in series with one of the wires running from the power source and the other towards the switches.  I had them all in parallel.  Simple for you electronic/electricity boffs out there, but a great achievement for me!!!!! . 
Oh, and I only shocked myself twice!

Well, the shocks must've done something - I feel A-L-I-I-I-I-V-E today.  Yes Paula.... Georg can use my appointment for somebody else this week!  Oh, and my safety gates are still working - the place didn't burn down due to faulty wiring today!

@ Bertie - I'm keeping one eye on the news to see if there's anything about a mad looking dentist roaming aimlessly around C.Town, muttering to himself, smelling like a braai and with smoke swirling from him - but so far it is all about Hurricane Gustav - looks quite mad to watch live on SKY NEWS.

Haven't had time for TV today - will have a look now.  Is SKY the best channel to follow the storm?
