Come on people - the match of the year is on today..........The Deise (Waterford) v's The Cats (Kilkenny) - bare in mind The Cats are playing for their 31st all Ireland hurling title and the Deise last played for it 49years ago!!! Tickets are like gold-dust and every favour in the land is being called upon; The cars and buses have been decorated and are heading to the capital as we speak, some even ventured up last night; all the towns and villages along the way have been decorated and all the hotels have been booked out. The pubs will be thronged, stuffed to bursting point; pints will be bought in twos and threes to save the pushing and shoving to the bar - The craic will be mighty - The neutrals in the land will shout for the underdogs. 'COME ON THE DEISE' - 3o'clock is throw-in.......don't even attempt to contact me - no post will be answered, the mobile will be switched to silent and the house phone will be taken off the hook......those who truley need me have an emergency way of contacting me - everyone else stay away for the duration of the game!

It could be a dirty one - Nay! it WILL be a dirty one.......keep your helmets on lads and mind the whip of the hurley. Watch your back at all times and keep your eye on the ball..............
