Actually, activated charcoal is used to remove a wide variety of bad stuff from the system, even some heavy metals - no Mike, know what you're thinking - don't start to play heavy metal music for the little one.... yet!

Re cravings - if you crave it, have it!  Haven't been pregnant myself (same problem as Mike there methinks), but I believe you should listen to your body.  If you need it, you'll be told by your body.  Then again - moderation, Moms-to-be².!

Ja  Georg ...   fatal cocktails .. I avoid them  ... stick  firstly red wine ,,, alternately cider or beer .. or really relaxing ..  a good scotch .. or  starting  an evening dinner a   G & T  or good sherry as apperetiff ..
and  of course  the total destruction at times  in the company of good friends  when a good eveing should really have ended .. in early hours when we silly we  do the port and suffer the consequences the next day ...
Just done my stocking up for memorial gathering on sat afternoon .. bought lots of red wine .. no raiding the cellar this time ..  dont want the same happening ...
