Wifes away in Durban, visiting ofl school friend  whome she hasnt see for 33 years, although since located earlier this year they have been in constsnt contact.
Friends on a farm, this morning they were out on Quad bikes.
Me Im at home with the daughters and friends, made a nice Spagetti Bolognaise sauce & had that with a botle of wine last night.
Couldnt sleep so  only went to bed after 04.00 this morning.
Your right that all the wierd and wonderfull things happen at night, thats why I prefer being a night owl.
Suppose it also stems from the fact that my  very first job called for a months night shift, I used to swap a day shift for nights if I could.

All is good here - my new house should be completed within the next couple of weeks, other than that just counting down the days till the man in the red suit appears.............Sorry guys I know it's still November but I do lurve Christmas Ho! Ho! Ho!

The Girls have already put our Christmas tree up and I checked that the Chrismas lights around the house are all working, Lit up the place on Friday.
Looks good.
Unfortunatly I can no linger lift my daughters up to place the Star on the top of the tree, ( they are all tall enough to do it themselves & realy enjoy it)

  Quiet  no  real wind .. Right  now doing a light little braai .. some  chicken kebabs .. roast veg as accompinent  and some cabiatta rolls ...   easy going ..  a glass or two of vino take it easy ...

Tonight made some ( Brazilian) Bully Beef, onions ,potatoes and nice green cabbage all fried up with some best butter, salt & black pepper.
Had this with HP source and a Rum & coke on the side.
What I revert back to when Cherie's away.
Still It tasted great, wont have that when she gets back.

A form of corn beef hash .... Masonic hotel in Springbok used to have it as a breakfast treat .. lovely on buttered toast ..
