I think Koos is in a difficult position. He has become such a part of this forum and I for one, enjoy his input but due to his very first posting, he is too scared to reveal himself as many have not forgiven him for teling us to get a life. I believe that the reason the site has been covered over, is due to the fact that the dig team has left town for the weekend, and are awaiting experts to arrive (from portugal?)..... the mine has been generous and placed a high number of security camera's around the area 24/7 to prevent any of their workforce who reside on the mine from digging for gold........

I also heard, that the reason Dr.Nolie never made any official statements was due to the fact that he wanted to have the correct facts and dates before going public.He is more than happy to share his find but just wants the correct information to be told as his name will forever be connected to the find. This is understandable.

Can't wait for his presentation though....

On the coins that were found,  is the Maltese Cross, or the Cross of St Johns of Malta. The same big red cross you see on the sails of those Spanish Sailing boats of the time...Around the edge of the coin, is inscribed..."Under this sign, we shall conquer"...... the interesting point being, the the Nights Tempelars at the same cross with the inscription, Under this cross, we shall conquer"....
