Sorry Ann, eventually No 2 inner crescent with the present view from the front of the house...   ;)

Thanks, Mike.  The house doesn't seem to have changed much although I can now see a bit of grass in the garden.  Is this perhaps not quite the smartest part of town??!
I can see why you were amazed by my outside views of the house that I sent you.  All those trees and "lawn".  The view up the crescent looks a bit sad and neglected which is such a shame. Although when we moved there it was essentially a brick house in the desert, everyone took such pride in the area - is there still a tiny park down the road?  I remember falling of the climbing frame when I was hanging upside down.  Perhaps that could explain a lot with my life!
Good to see how it looks now but just can't relate to it at all.  I'm going to print all the house piccies out to show the family but I suspect they'll be best to hold on to their memories.

Would the tiny park be directly across the road from your old house where the old xray was?

No, if you turned right out of Inner Crescent you passed the house next door (presumably on Outer Crescent), crossed the "road" and it was there.  Or, perhaps to make it simpler, right onto the Town Centre road and it was then almost immediately on the right hand side.  By the sounds of it it has probably gone  :'(

I'm with you, that's commonly referred to in this day and age as the fith avenue park, there is a photo somewhere in this forum of it, but most of the playthings have been removed.......   :(
