Remember the campsite and the swimming pool. The monkeys that always wreaked havoc with an unattended picnic basket or a caravan with windows left open whilst swimming inthe pool or river.
Never did a school trip there but worked on the farm a bit as an Appie,  based at Town Electrical. Remember when Zharkov Lillie, who was Bill Godbold's appie at the time, tried scaling a piglet from Beauvallon.
The fruit was probably the best part of that place, duck into the orchards and eat yourself so dik you could hardly move.

All things electrical contain smoke. Making it come out is easy; getting it back in? ... yeah right!!!

I remember camping trips to beauvallon, the farm manager was Houghton at one point,
oranges, using boxes to ski down the sand dunes and generally running around free for hours.
swimming in the river and jumping on the river bank to create sinking sand.

If I recall correctly, at the time, you insisted the tree jumped out in front of you... Hilton was pissed and so were we, no more bandying about for us that weekend

I remember going camping with my folks, my dad taught me how to fish, i had  a red fishing rod, maybe I taught my dad, he was not impressed when i caught some fish and he caught nothing......Like father like daughter.... well, one night the mossie' had a field day on my face and my sister (shelley) and when we returned to school I was laughed at, (not funny) i counted 50 bites alone, on my face and was called "pimple face" not funny.... well I also remember the boys, Clint was one of them oh Wayne, and some others went fishing in the early morning.....with a six pack in the river..
I have the best and most difficult job in the world, I am a mum!!!
