Miami drug smuggler meets his Karma.

June 2007. A certain Juan Carlos Gomez arrives at Miami Intl Airport on a flight from Bogota, Columbia. He has a previous drug conviction in the US, so customs officials give him the full treatment. During the interrogation the cops notice that he is shaking, sweating profusely, and appears very disorientated. Mr Gomez claims that he had too much to drink on the flight, although the cops can't smell any alcohol on his breath. Shortly thereafter he collapses and all attempts to resuscitate him fail.

During the autopsy, the ME finds 48 balloons filled with cocaine in his colon. One of the balloons had burst and led to his untimely death. What a way to go! Go Karma!
