Mike - I'm just as suprised as you are...
I was told that if my love was pure, I would know all the right answers and correct behaviour. :-\
Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

Michael Alexander

Phew! lucky for me I signed that---" I don't do any gardening clause", in the wedding contract.... otherwise I'd be in Pauls boots, gardening boots that is....   :D

At least Paul keeps me company when I'm shifting sand in the garden - that is after he's scared the shit out of me with his sudden appearances at the fence!

Mike, I'm going to be heading home now so I hope you've done all those domesticky things you promised you would - oops sorry should this have been a pm?

When you say Domesticky things, does that include lighting a braai and drinking beer?

Lovely hot evening you awl, definitly a beer and braai evening... Mike I'll be at the fence to pick up that beer you promised...

Pete (RIP)

What a lucky escape for the only Super 14 side playing in the Currie Cup, the Cheetahs!  Where's Mike?  Terribly quiet.  Just imagine what imagine what an impact on the game a neutral ref and match officials would have had.

Must say, for my part, that I was very happy with Province.  To come away with a bonus point from Fortress Ellis is commendable.  Glad they're not showing too much before the final.  Still, it is very quiet without the glowing faces of Cheetah supporters peering over the fence, vigorously waving their flags (usually upside down, too!).

Michael Alexander

Pete, you have to understand that we were missing 3 of our normal players and 3 more of our even better key players to the WC, and the ref was biased, and the field was a pigsty, and the altitude, and the warm weather, and plane ride down, and the time zone thingy, and 3 of the players were playing with pink eye, and  dammit, I'm starting to sound like a Bulls supporter  ;D , nevertheless the main reason why they almost lost, which they did'nt......, was because their biggest Namibian supporter, decided to stay sober and not to braai this Saturday, and thus neglected to erect his weekly orange shrine in his lounge, thus upsetting the karma.... and one could see the players felt this.... I have learned my lesson and from henceforth will continue to erect my orange shrine, cheetah ashtray and all( even though I don't smoke), for the next 8 weeks.....

Those flags will reappear.... soon....

;)

Shucks...and I did such a nice braai for gatecrashers...no matter, the cat enjoyed it and has put on 10 kgs.

Michael Alexander

Pete, that's not a cat........   :o

you know what the oddest part of the cheetah's supporters: the only time the cheetahs wear orange is when they are playing a team that also is mainly white, and yet all the supporters look like fruit with legs
of course i am in shape...i'm round

Michael Alexander

Daryll, are you smoking Durban weed again, what are you trying to say? Do you mean that by white, that they are white players, white kits?... and do I need to remind you that you have'nt beaten us in the CC for the last 4 years.....

???

Michele Alexander (Voden)

Sorry Darryl, Mike is a bit busy shouting at the Cheetahs on the tv to reply at the moment! At least now I get a chance on the pc! How is the guest house going?
