It's funny how certain songs bring back specific memories. Whenever I hear the song 'Walking back to happiness' by Helen Shapiro, I see myself back at the yacht club playing on the lawn with all the other kids while our parents were racing it out on the pink pan or getting the braai ready. We'd be sipping cream sodas and eating chips and the music would be blaring in the background.

Somehow the song by Men at Work, "Who can it be now" reminds me of the daytime activities at the youth club in OM during the holidays. Music blaring, couples making out in the dark corners, laaities sneaking a smoke around the back, Good Times!

The love theme from flashdance, by Georgio Moroder, is one of my alltime 80's favourites.
