@ Bertie.   Yes we lived at E5/11 from 1960-1967 then to E15/11. I don't recall where you fitted age wise but I do remember your family. I was good friends of Yvonne De Lange who lived opposite you at E9.

When we were young our captain said, Rhodes I have something to say, and what she said we'll never forget, until our dying day, she said Rhodes you are a winning team and that's the way you'll stay, happy to be in the winning team until your dying day!!!!!!!

Diana - you've got to type your sentence/word then highlight it, go to the change colour box's drop down arrow, chose your colour and click on it - voila!

Looks like us GREENS rule the roost!!  I remember the Horak's well - Bertie and my dad (Bill Alcock) were both wild bird breeders as I recall.

Dalene Steenkamp (Coetzee)

Green rules!

Life becomes harder for us when we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier. Friendship is a sheltering tree.

To be clever enough to get a great deal of money, one must be stupid enough to want it.

Those who bring sunshine to the lives of other cannot keep it from themselves.
