If I remember correctly, the Neser boy's name was Jaques  -  the son of Hein and Ina Neser.  Hein used to be the chopper pilot in OMund way back then.  Also an excellent photographer.   They used to be very good friends with my partents.

You are correct. His name is Jacques and he is a medical doctor in the UK now. I will try to get him involved here as well. Sadly his mother, Ina, passed away shortly after they left Oranjemund.

Hi Bertie, onthou jy my - was saam met jou op skool. Eks die dogterjie met twee vlegsels en brilletjies !
As ek reg onthou het julle in die straat van die skool gebly. Altyd daar verby gery oppad skool toe. Ek ontou 'n Ian wat ook daar rond gebly het. Saam met my in die klas was Neville Smith en Fanie Agenbach - daardie stout manne!
Ek sien nie eintlik van ons 1965 modelle op die forum nie?

@ Johanda - Ja, ek onthou jou!  Welkom!  Jy's reg, ons 1965 modelle is maar bietjie skaars op die forum. En ja, ons het in die skool straat gebly (E10/11).  Ian van Wyk het in E2/11 gebly, sy kleinsus se naam is Theresa, en sy Ma en Pa was Connie en Gerrit.

Ek's ook 'n 1965 model, maar vir geen sout of water kan ek jou onthou nie, Johanda.  Het nou my onthou putte tot die droesem toe geledig, maar niks registreer nie.  Julle was in 1978 in st.5?  Fanie se oudste suster, Amor en Neville se ouer suster, Veronica was saam met my.
