HAllo Gerrit...jou ma was my Std 2 onderwyseres. Met my verjaarsdag daai jaar het sy vir my n boek gekoop...Ilja die klein Gansriddertjie... het hom vandag nog en my kleinkind is nou al volgende jaar in std 2. Hoop jou naweek in Oranjemund was aangenaam.  Groete  Gerda Cloete

How odd it seems that there are no 'kids' from the 1979 English Std 5 classes on here. Are they not computer literate? Remember Mr Berg, Mr van Aswegen and Mr Marlow??

I had Richard Marlow in Std 4 but I don't recall his wife being a teacher ... have you been smoking  again Mike ???

Yes Patricia, now i remember, Richard marlow taught us English in Std 4. He used to draw the most amazing chalk drawings on the board. No idea what his wife did.
Are there any others from our Std 4 and 5 year on this site?

JEAN BROWN! did'nt we have a Mrs Marlow?

MICHAEL ALEXANDER!  Yes we did.  Her name was Patricia and yes, she was married to Mr Marlowe.  She was our standard 2 teacher (and a very nice lady if I remember correctly!!)  Our Std 2 class photo is under the topic "Jean Brown's OPS photo's" - that might jog some memories....
