Juno Claasen

Hi I'm Juno

I started my schooling at OPS in 1991, grade 1 in Mrs James's class. She used to hit us with a wooden spoon if you were naughty and I liked the way we were given special attention from that early on already. I cant really remember my grade 2 and three but grade 4 I was is Mrs Muller's class (4 MA) and in grade 5 I was in Mr Profit's class (5 PA). Those were real nice years and I had a lot of fun with my friends but then for grade 6 and 7 we were seperated and changed. My grade 6 teacher was Mr East, he was real strict but a very nice guy. Grade 7 my teacher was Mrs Freylinck (hope I spelled it correctly) she was one of my favourite teachers ever. I also remember Mrs Hall, Mrs Berg, Mr Meyer (Principal, his daughter and I are colleagues at Rossing Uranium), Mr Robinson, Mr Ferreira, Mr woods, well thats about all I can remember for now will update again later. What I enjoyed most was the sports and watching movies in the old movie room. the trips we used to take to Cape Town was always a exciting.

Thanks for letting me share this cause it feels good to tell others of my school.
