@ Bobby - You're too kind, calling the outfit "grand".  Thanx for not laughing!  If I remember correctly we were quite a few cheerleaders who took turns that year, for we all took part in some events on the field as well.  Myself not a great runner, that was left to speedsters like Mickey Steyn (Oppenheimer), Charl van Wyk (Barnato), and John Smith (Rhodes) who battled it out if I'm correct.  I took part in high- and long jump.  I might have been part of the cheerleader squad because of my "music".  I received colors for "kultureel", not sport so much.  I think you're too hard on yourself - you're quite a legend!
