@ Bobby that would be my sister Irene and myself with hands in pond ,my brother Shawn in pram ,and brother Keith with our Granny. Don't want to move the photo's here but under mini gardens,anything goes is a photo of that rockery. Remember how we would take our towels from the pool and go tan up there or wet the towels and play stingers all through those rocks.

I wonder if the number of fish ponds at North hostel still exists.  I remember huge fish there.

The ponds in Berties' pics are at Uubvley Hostel which was vacated last year. The Bogenfels Arch pond was empty for some time, was fenced in and turned into a bird cage which I found lacking of birds even 10 years back when I returned to Uubvley.
Now it all stands unoccupied like Affenrucken and Mittag hostels.
North Hostel and the old Production Centre was flattened around 11years back to mine out the area. Driving past there now you would never say that there was once a hostel complex there.
