To thinki we lived there when it was SWA.  Still have some stamps of the era.  The other Springbok tape was great.  Heard every one of them at the time.  Thanks for that.  Any pictures of the girlies on the records taken recently Mike????

ANother memory.  I had a drum set at the time and the drummer from the group SHAG that used my kit for the session that night.  He stayed the night with his girlfriend in our home.  They were not allowed to bring a drum kit into O/M since it was difficult to have it inspected for CDM groceries.  However they did bring in some pot I recall.

The pot story is true....  "They" were quite vexed about the whole affair.  I don't remember the little girlie but that seems to be a good thing!

John!....... just shows how naive we were I thought pot was what you sat on ............but I do remember in Durban we were passing a derelict piece of land there was rubble and grass growing on it, and one of the guys (Scottish) climbed the fence and sprinted over to this grass patch...............when he got back he was bleeding from the scratches received from the fence, I was standing looking amazed at him and asked him what the hell was that about.................it was still a few years later on before I realised it was marijuana growing their.

'Oh' and to keep true to this post there was a RADIO playing.................. image04
