True crime.  It's sick.  Poor animals (intelligent mammals just like us by the way), so peaceful, not causing any harm.  Really shocking.  I can not write here what I pray will be the fate of those sorry excuses for humans involved in this unnecessary murders. May my wishes come true!

Many people say crime is at it's hight and more brutal than ever.
We're always trying to understand how humans function or should (wishfull thinking) function.
To me it seems, humans have always been brutal. Wars throughout history. This is the way men became heros and famous. So it seems it's something that's kinda stuck in all of us. Just the way I once mentioned there's a little racist in everybody.
Sometimes it seems to me, as if some people live this kinda brutaliy by doing "illigal" things. Remember, war is always legal in every army.
It's no excuse for anything. Society must be protected.  Culture must be developed on all the ime to reach a hight in humanity and what we call human rights.
Just trying to understand again...

I saw Obahama holding his speach after his election this morning. A man with very high ideals. That's the attitude we need. He said something I thought before he was elected. He said he'll disapointing his people to. That's what life like. But it's your belief, attitued and deeds that makes the world better.
I believe, we have to be liberal in a way to understand the world and to give everybody a chance and a place in it. But we may never except violance in any form. Society must be protected....

I like the " alien race " idea .. hey they are watching us .. and worried .. the human race has a lot of good virtues , but  also has the tendency to want to self destruct be it through the quest for power , ego or whatever .. we  never  entirely seem to learn form past mistakes ...  sad  .. so sad ..

THIS is the room in the Sydney unit where two women were found dead, their throats cut by a killer who remained at large last night.

Homicide Squad detectives yesterday returned to the complex in Queen Street, Auburn, where the two Chinese nationals were found. The decomposing bodies of the women, both aged about 30, were found lying face down on a bed on Thursday afternoon.

The man who raised the alarm, rushing to a nearby ambulance station, was the new boyfriend of one of the victims.

Detectives believe the women had been dead for at least three days in the three-bedroom unit, which is believed to have been home to up to 11 people.

Detective Inspector Mick Sheehy said yesterday: "Our view is that it is certainly unusual to have not discovered [the bodies] before, but there are language and cultural barriers.

"They are just not coming forward with information. Obviously we believe that certainly someone must have known something."

Neighbours said the women had been living in the complex for two months and police believe they may have been working as prostitutes.

The pair were not believed to be related, coming from two different Chinese provinces.

Neighbour Tina Wu, 20, said some people in the unit were from Fujian province and were often visited by others who came from there.

"If you know one Fujian person, you know them all and all of them will come to your home," she said.

A neighbour who asked not to be identified said two "strange-looking" men were seen leaving the unit the day before the women were found dead.

She said the men were of Middle Eastern appearance, aged in their 20s and wearing T-shirts and shorts. They looked "worried".

The neighbour said the men did not live in the building and she had not seen them previously.

"The feeling I had was not good," she said. "I was scared."

Detective Inspector Sheehy said police were not aware of the two men. Brad Ormsby from Strata Plus said security had been increased at the units.

He said he believed the victims knew their killer.

"They put up stud walls and make four or five bedrooms out of two or three," he said. "Two people let the unit. We try to do inspections as often as possible."

He said that, while security measures were being put in place for the building, there was not cause for concern among residents and he believed "the girls knew their killer".

Police are working with the Chinese Consulate to make contact with the women's next of kin in China before they can be publicly identified.

Guard shot in Waldorf-Astoria robbery bid

Gunfire erupted in Manhattan's Waldorf-Astoria hotel during a brazen robbery attempt at a lobby jewellery store on Saturday, wounding a security guard and sending guests diving for cover.

The 54-year-old guard was shot in the chest but was expected to survive.

A suspect was arrested on charges including attempted murder and assault.

Hotel guest Christine Cataldo said she was looking at a display of engagement rings near the entrance to the store, Cellini Jewellers, when she heard the first shot.

"It sounded like a bomb. One big boom. And then people started running," Cataldo, a Long Island resident, said.

The mayhem began when the black-garbed suspect, identified as Rafael Rabinovich-Ardans, 20, pulled out a gun in the jewellery store and used the weapon to smash two display cases full of expensive rings and necklaces, a police official said.

The guard, Gregory Boyle, a retired New York Police Department detective, confronted the man. About three gunshots rang out as the two wrestled and fell to the floor, though it wasn't clear who fired. Both were armed.

One bullet hit Boyle in the left upper chest, the official said.

Another hotel employee then tackled Rabinovich-Ardans, the police official said. The suspect's gun went off again as they grappled, but that bullet apparently struck no one.

Hotel security staff arrived and took Rabinovich-Ardans into custody.

The Waldorf-Astoria was the world's largest hotel when it opened in its current Park Avenue spot in 1931, according to the hotel's website. It had previously been on Fifth Avenue.

The Art Deco hotel quickly became synonymous with luxury and part of popular culture, appearing in the 1945 Ginger Rogers film Weekend at the Waldorf and garnering a mention in the classic Cole Porter song You're the Top.

Cellini Jewellers, a high-end boutique that specialises in luxury watches adorned with diamonds and gold, opened in the hotel lobby in 1977.

Manhunt for post office killers

More than 100 police officers are searching for a gang of masked men who shot dead the son of a village postmaster during a robbery.

Craig Hodson-Walker, 29, son of sub-postmaster Ken Hodson-Walker, was shot in the chest at Fairfields Store, in Fairfield, Worcestershire.

A second man was shot in the leg during the raid on Friday involving three men using a handgun and a sledgehammer.

The injured man is being treated at Birmingham's Selly Oak Hospital.

Witnesses sought

He has not been officially identified and his condition is not yet known.

Police want to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around the time of the raid at 0820 GMT. They said it was too early to say if anything had been stolen.

It is believed the robbers escaped in a silver Volkswagen Golf later found abandoned nearby. It had false registration plates W337 DDN and was stolen in Solihull on 31 December, police said. The correct registration plate for the car was GP53 FJJ.

Officers said the car may have got caught in rush-hour traffic on its way to the Stourbridge Road island at the junction of the A491 Sandy Lane.

The post office was also targeted by raiders five years ago.

Det Supt Jon Groves, of West Mercia Police, said: "Significant resources have been committed to this inquiry, which is in its very early stages.

"The offenders are dangerous and must not be approached."

A Post Office spokesman said: "We are shocked and appalled at this terrible attack against hard-working people serving the whole community and we are very concerned for the family and will be doing all we can to help them."

Josef Fritzl trial: accused hides face with folder in court

Fritzl kept his daughter Elisabeth chained up 24 hours a day for the first nine months of her 24-year imprisonment in the dungeon beneath his house, a jury will be told today.

Elisabeth, then aged 18, was chained by her hands to metal posts behind a bed in the cellar, unable to move more than a few inches from the bed.




Fritzl, 73, is on trial for murder, rape, incest and slavery after fathering seven children by his daughter, who he allegedly raped on a daily basis after drugging her and dragging her into the secret purpose-built bunker in August 1984.

He is expected to admit the majority of the charges, but will deny the murder charge, which relates to a baby born in 1996 whose body Fritzl is alleged to have burned in a stove.

The prosecution claim he murdered the baby boy by failing to seek medical help when he became seriously ill, but Fritzl is expected to claim that the child was stillborn.

Fritzl's trial, described by one state official as 'the worst criminal case in Austria's history', is attracting worldwide media attention, with hundreds of reporters from more than 20 countries descending on the small town of St Poelten, around 30 miles from Amstetten, where Fritzl's horrendous crimes were committed.

The eight-man jury will be told today that Fritzl began raping his daughter within two days of putting her into the cellar.

The prosecution's indictment claims that Fritzl asked his daughter to go down to the cellar "under the pretence that she should help him to carry a door into his garage".

It alleges: "After they had put the door in place, he ordered her into his office and made her sit down on a stool. He then drugged his daughter, by putting a narcotic substance into a cloth and then holding it around her mouth and nose. He dragged her into a windowless cellar room, 200sq ft in size, which he had already adapted for this purpose.

"He had equipped it with a double bed, a wash basin, a toilet, a TV, a video recorder, an oven and plastic crockery.

"In the cellar there was no daylight or fresh air. The only opportunity to wash was in a sink, there was no shower. There was also no hot water or heating.

"Just after Elisabeth was locked in the cellar, the accused built a reinforced door, which he then reinforced with additional locks and bolts. The door was opened and closed electronically and only Josef Fritzl himself could do this. Elisabeth was kept behind a barrage of secured doors, with no chance to escape.

"Elisabeth's imprisonment was premeditated; Fritzl had been planning her imprisonment in the dungeon cellar for two to three months before he actually lured his daughter down there."

Fritzl is said to have explained away Elisabeth's disappearance by claiming she had run away to join a cult.

"Once in the cellar he chained his daughter up, strapping her arms and tying her hands behind her back with an iron chain, which he then secured to metal posts behind her bed. She had no chance to escape. Her movement was severely restricted. She could only move half a metre either side of the bed. After two days he attached the chain around her waist so she could reach the toilet and wash basin."

After nine months, Fritzl is said to have finally relented and removed the metal chains from around his daughter's waist.

But, as the court will hear, this was purely to make it easier for him to use her as his sex slave.

Elisabeth's ordeal finally came to an end last April when her eldest daughter, Kerstin, 19, became seriously ill and Fritzl took her to hospital, leading to questions which quickly unearthed his appalling alleged crimes.

The trial, which is expected to last five days, continues.
