Rhona, the first B&BC loaf just made it out of the oven, & was eaten steaing hot, Two daughters, Cherie & parents in law  did it Justice.
Frozed the other two for later ( otherwise I'd double in size)

Cherry, was in Plumstead yesterday  & passed through Wynberg, didn't have your address.

WIll try the oven again, ( dont think the Eskom electricity was up to scratch) not so close to Lunch time.

Aw gee Clive!  I have a gas oven that SUCKS - just doesn't give proper temperature reading so bread baking is disastrous!  You're welcome to pop in anytime - bread or no bread but it's always a welcome sight!  :-)

Sandy, I bought Apfelflap? at a railway station near Amsterdam and it was the nicest tasting pastry I have ever had in my life. Would go back just for that.
