I agree, enough with the Ford bashing, it leaves me with too many scars and wounds.... sorriso2

My dad is also a Ford fan, had a Cortina Big six and a Ford Zephyr, Ford stationwagon, from when I can remember, only ever had a Ford and still thinks they are the best.

Many folk would take offense to this one...

Tonne Ou Yster Op Twee Aste = TOYOTA

First On Rubbish Dump = FORD... (When it's towing the Toyota)

Neither FORD nor TOYOTA have given me any crap, so not a good thing to dis them, Just adding to the list..!
All things electrical contain smoke. Making it come out is easy; getting it back in? ... yeah right!!!

Another one i forgot  .. the atypical minibus taxi ..  Toyota  Hiace ... High Impact African Culling Equipment ... shoot me for that one ...
I dont think anyone can take offence to  word play on car names .. most manufacturers have had their horror years where their best intended designs just came out  crappy and a troublesome child was born ...
I remember the Austin Marina .. if any of the Mini's , 1127's .or Apache's were  finicky then the so called simple back to basics design , rear wheel drive simple layout ( the advert was that is was like  a household appliance plug in and go )  It was a horror story .. evrything under the sun could go wrong .. every manufacturer has had bad years .. so far so good today , things have improved mostly  ( automation and robotics ? ) .. but then theres always the human factor ..Monday car . Wednesday car  and end of week car ..  so in the good old days we had the odds of  2-3 days of really good manufacture  depending on  how they felt on friday ...  ha ha
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .
