Diana .. Ina Paarman  is a close friend of Mike and his tummy ..  her products are on the Spar shelves ...  braai marinades etc .. nice  wholesome shortcuts .. take a bet a good lot of her  products are in woolies under their label .. and boy are they fussy  .. the MSG's and all nasty shyt slowly disapearing off their shelves ...   by the way  do you boil your own potatoes   or does Steve  boil them and then you assemble salad ?? as you may burn them in the boiling process   ???   ape

I also make a good potato salad. The first step is to cook the right potatoes. My favourite is BP potatoes but they seem to be scarce these days, farmers are planting more pest-resistant varieties but they don't taste or cook as well as a BP.

I dont do potato salad .. but I love the woolies  mediterranean  potato's .. they nice and yellow and creamy inside ..  I boil them in their skins in salty water ..  slice them in half and lay them  cut side down in a mix of olive oil and  woolies veg stock or Vogel herbal salt and  do them a while in the oven ... Yummy and then they even taste good  when cold .. i beleive the best part of nutrition in taters lies just directly under the skin so i always keep it on...

The secret to a good Potato salad is Lemon & Dill spiced into it...serve with Garlic pork neck steaks of the braai fire......
