John Creedy

He He Mike -- The Mr Creedy is of course pappa bear. I was 2 at the time...... but also born in Wales. Must have missed the photograph when I was growing up.  I was wondering if anyone knows of the Johnsons in the photo.  Thanks for the memory.

Hi John, was 'papa Creedy' a surveyer in the surveying department? Read the topic about Heinz(Egon) Geiger.

Hi Leon
He was there from 1954 as a diesel mechanic and later as an appy instructor in the Tech when it first opened.  There were a few of us.  Brother Mike worked in ORU and spent a lot of time in Chamois camp and maybe thats where the name might come in.  Doc Guest of ORU/Geology was around in his days.  I worked in O/M as well - radioshop and later on the mine at No 1 Plant and Electrical deptment in the same office block as the survey office.  I do remember your name quite clearly.  Wait till you get to my age Leon....  Where are you now?
Have a great Xmas!
John

Hi John
I Left OM in 1982 and reside in Cape Town since then.
So your Dad was not in the survey dept then?
So you are XX years old?
I'm on the 'wrong' side of 50 now at 56.
Wonderful Christmas, New Year and 2009 to you and your family as well.

We left in 1977 and moved to the Cape.  No, my father never did work in the survey dept.  I am 61.  Still working.  Still married.  Still drinking beer and whyskey.  Its all good stuff....

Have a great Xmas to you and your family!
