The following photographs were taken at our first function at the POH - "Place of Happiness" which I first thought was a new religious order, that thought vanished very soon!

Thursday night 13th November 2008 - first of the very well organised evenings. The potjies were fantastic and the chef - name slips my mind - was 6 star!

A very good evening of talking and getting to know the folk.

Photograph 1865 of the 70s school girl holiday team, girls' names that I remember are back row left to right - Karen Hofman, Bev Quinton, Tracey Derrick, Barbara Brownless, Debby Biccard, Lorene Proctor and Teresa Carr. 2nd row Mrs Coffin - may be someone can fill in the rest - I think the girl bottom row extreme right is a van Rooyen girl.

Life's journey is not to
arrive at the grave safely
in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways,
totally worn out, shouting
'..holy sh*t ..what a ride!

Thanks Mike for increasing the the gig - back to uploading and quite a few to go.

Mike did a great job of getting hold of a lot of old newsletters of the 70s which as you will see in the photographs many looked at.
