Besides getting a hole in my stomach where my appendix thingy used to be.... I got a box set of the war Series, Band Of Brothers......, I really wanted this series for the last 5 years, but it was way too expensive..

I also got my annual Zapiro book, Pirates of Polokwane...

Frank and I went last week and got more tattoos done for Christmas.  And just got each others something small to open on the day.
I got PJ's and slippers and so did he.
Santa brought us a WII for the whole family, really good fun.

I always wanted to fly a helocpter so wifie bought me one of those indoor jobs.  I practiced to show off to my grandson on Xmas.  It bought the farm: got thrown into the ground, lay onto its side with the rotors turning in pangs of agony.  I think the rotor shaft got bent and ...should I continue??  He thought it was hilarious.
We had fun though.  Family was seperated due to the weather so we stretched it out over 3 days.
I was hoping someone would have invited a bunch from the Forum over for Xmas.  You never know if the seed is planted.

Well, my 17 month old toddler got the flu, with bouts of fever and a really bad, bad cough, and then all three of us got sleepless nights and then his pediatrician got a lot of calls from us (he is, I kid you not, a South African MD... ) and then we had to stay indoors for a whole week, and then we all got "cabin fever"... a Xmas to forget, really!

Awww I am sorry to read that Alexandre, lets hope that the New Year brings you and your family health and prosperity.

My son is 3 and I know as a parent its terrible when your child/ren are sick and you wish you could wave a magic wand and make them all better, immediately.

Hang in there....   giverose

I know what I will be getting as Hubby only lands tomorrow afternoon. Got an incontact sms from FNB, he used his credit card and bought me my favourite perfume in Dubai.  In the meanwhile I am still battling to get rid of bronchitis, fell ill on Christmas Day, but saw the Doc this morning and feeling better already, I have no choice, cannot get onto the train feeling sick

I envy all of you that have the priviledge of having a white Xmas. Have been saying my whole life long that I would love to go to Switzerland and sit in the snow. Here in South Africa the snow is too little, I want to sit in snow that is a couple of feet thick

Hi there Bertie. Yup, it's a great game, the best game ever since "Hidden & Dangerous". The graphics are absolutely stunning and right out of Africa. Even the bad guys speak Afrikaans... 202
