As a devoted child of the 80's, it came as a great shock to me, to discover, today,14 years too late, that Laura Branigan had passed away...in 1994.....

Nobody told me...... I never knew.....

Her voice pumped out in the single quarters when I was an appie, CLints room, disco lights, mirror ball, booze and Laura Branigan....

First word I hear about it, but then I was stuck in the desert at the time.
Must say that I quite liked some of her songs. My wife was a serious fan.

Laura passed away in her sleep on Thursday night August 26th 2004 of a Brain aneurysm.

Well I never knew it either..  Usually when such a well known artist passes away, everyone knows..  This one I most certainly also missed.
