     and just to spite you some more  -  I lit a moerse fire earlier and now I'm going to braai a steak (with a nice fat strip on it) about 3cm thick and wash it down with my Windhoek.  With that I'm having a spud with the thickkest cheddar cheese sauce you can think of............. and some green salad with fresh herbs straight out the garden.

Aint this what this topic is all about:  my braaimeat??

if i may intervene - i believe that is a ribeye steak, a cut of meat i discovered in UK, the best most succulent flavourful steak ever.  The lines of fat and the eye of fat ib center just dissolve into meat and add yummyness........
