The Great House Scramble.....

So On Friday a memo went out to the workforce that they can change houses in Omund , I believe it applies to all C band employees.... So Friday and the rest of the weekend saw people driving all around town inspecting various empty homes...... The plus side, being that People have moved into my inlaws old house and the they are keen gardeners, so the lawns will not be dying anymore....

I know of a number of private individuals who have also managed to secure houses and are paying rental to the company..... it seems that the company has realized the value of their assets in housing.... now we just got to get outsiders to retire in a company home..... generate revenue into the local economy.....

Would like to pimp the house, have a build in braai, swimmingpool (for skinnydipping, town poll closed at night - o!! my naked body will scare off a lot) extra garages and so one. Why are we waiting? R we the only ones who want to live in Oranjemund and not somewere else.
