Rich Arabs are renowned for their attraction to everything that shines and glitters. So when you have millions in your bank account, why not buy a gold plated Lexus ... very kitsch and definitely doesn't go unnoticed. I just happened to see it because it was parked next to my car and I must say that I wouldn't have switched cars ... what bad taste ...!

Have they not  yet learned the expression  of  all that glitters is not gold  ??   thats the kind of  taste that  makes me want  to  puke ... and  yes as they  say a  vulgar display of wealth ...
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .

What immediately sprang to mind was "how long will that car last on our roads before its highjacked"

And yes Sandy, its totally in poor taste when one thinks of how many starving people there are in the world.
Don't sweat the small shit!

In Omund, I don't go for the gold plated car..... but rust plated is quite popular here.....

I forgot   to add  the  word  obscene  to my sentence ....  and  yes as they  say an  obscene  and   vulgar display of wealth ...

What matters here is not who you are but what you have that nobody else has ... You must flaunt your wealth. Buy the best looking license plate number, the best mobile number, etc ... I rest my case ...
