A lot of people (experts) are saying that the ANC are gonna lose a large slice of their majority....... I beg to differ..... The masses will still vote en masse for them, they do not understand the power of their vote...... I assure after the election these so called experts will be pondering how they got it wrong..... this is africa....Stats and polls mean nothing...... you vote for who you are told to vote for.....

I stand to be corrected but believe that the the majority of the ANC losses are in the age group of 50 and above. ( Sounds like the wise old men are beleiving what they are seeing and its the younger groups that believe the drivel being dished up.

Hows' this for a part of Political Manifesto.  ( No its not the ANC but the "Peace & Justice Congress" PJC)

" 5.1    A SINGLE NEW MONETARY CURRENCY FOR AFRICA.

To create a new monetary currency for Africa and the ENTIRE WORLD to prevent Wealthy Nations, from exploiting Poorer Nations by devaluing their currencies and acquiring their assets nad National Resources far below its true value."

Thanks Clive  got the info ,,, I had  however directed it  to the mayor  and leader of DA  already .. the reply below ...  so  it was directed to the  Mayor and leader  ...

Dear Mr Alexander,

Thank you for your email of 31st March, which was forwarded to us by the Mayor's Office.

You are right about Jacob Zuma; the DA has been saying these things for a long time and a recent Markinor poll showed that even many ANC members believe their leader is guilty of corruption. Zuma needs his day in court but it looks like he will succeed in not getting it.

With regard to the SARS case, SARS is refusing to say anything about it, which leads one to assume that they have written off their losses.

You can read a speech which Ms Zille made on the 30th March (entitled "No, Mr Zuma, I will not back off") here: http://www.da.org.za/newsroom.htm?action=view-news-item&id=6558.

Thank you for your efforts to contact the press and raise awareness of the truth. While your efforts may seem futile, word of mouth is the most important weapon we have in this election, and we must know that the ANC's arrogance will be it's own undoing in the end.

The more it regards public opinion with contempt, the more the public, even its own voters, will resent it. So we just need to keep on exposing this corruption, forcing them to talk about it and defend themselves. Eventually, not this election and maybe not next election, but some day, they will feel the consequences at the polls.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

With best wishes,

Sandy thanks for sharing that,

I am extremely involved in our local neighbourhood watch and have garnered a number of good contacts, which we use when necessary.

Last weekend we had a Club / lounge in Voorterkker Street,  erect a marquee tent in a carpark, there was permission granted ( we had the Bellville police Capt check the documentation and the local  DA  representative came out to check it out,  as it was being hosted in what amounts to a residential neighbourhood, without obtaining local residents permission) anyway it is being dealt with at council level.
We are awaiting feedback.
Like we've said, if we dont stand up and object strongly right in their faces we are going to be walked all over.

TO                :       All  interested  and concerned  Citizens
SUBJECT   :       The ANC influenced SARS  owes the  public  explanation
DATE         :       5/4/2009

Dear  Concerned  Citizens of South Africa ,
The  Revenue Service is supposed to be  a
non partisan entity , its task being  to collect  taxes  and allocate accordingly  fairly and judiciously   for the benefit of South Africa  and its citizens .
They are part of the public service ,  therefore public  servants  and  therefore answerable  to the public .
I have brought  up in previous correspondence  the fact that  I believe that they should have a strong case based on  the goings on of Jacob  Zuma of  tax evasion . To all extents there appears to have been no such investigation  or  action  when  questioned before  by various opposition  political parties.
If one looks at  one example  of  their  history  of favouring friends of the ANC  when  faced with pursuit  by the taxman , we can take the example of the late Brett Kebble .  It was  well reported that  he was  at one point being pursued by the taxman for non payment / evasion of taxes .  His  widely reported  generosity from  buckets of  shareholders  money   to members of the ANCYL and other  ANC members  seemed to  make  this  pursuit grind to a halt , which then to me proves  that   Revenue Services  have  in the past   favoured and  more than likely  in the present  favour  members of ANC elite  and  friends of the ANC as pressure to stop pursuit could indeed be bought   .The only  conclusion to be  drawn  then  is that they are currently  partisan to their own  .

The  example of Brett Kebble is only the tip of the iceberg , there are other  reported  cases that seem to quietly  get swept under the mat .

A report  in the media states that   Revenue Services have a shortfall in collections ....

Trevor  Manuel and  Pravin Gordahn should realise that part of their shortfall possibly comes from the "favours"   or favouring / turning a blind eye  to  the elite and friends  debts  to the fiscus .
Furthermore the wastage of taxpayers money in the example of parliament buying  the debt of the travelgate  scoundrels that  still  warm seats  in parliament . Where did that money come from ? From the tax bucket obviously .Will they pay it back to their employer  ? I doubt  it will be repaid .

So Trevor Manuel and Pravin Gordahn  can you honestly answer these questions ?

1.   Has  Jacob Zuma  been subject to an audit  for all the  monies he received including the free legal services ?
2.   Have  all the ANCYL and ANC members that received money from Brett Kebble  and others  been subject to audits of their  financial affairs .
3.   Have the travelgate  scoundrels been subject to scrutiny by the  revenue services seeing that they  received benefits illegally ??

Sadly  so I  expect  no honest answers here as the ANC leadership  has lost its moral compass and the  ability to  have a conscious  conscience . That by explanation the ability  to look at oneself in the  mirror  , ask  and answer the following  questions to oneself  ..
1.   Have  I tried my best  to be honest in my  everyday dealings ?
2.   Is what I am doing  fair and moral ?
3.   Do I feel good  about what I am doing or am I just toeing party line ?

Too many  ANC elite , members and their blindly loyal followers  cannot answer  these questions to themselves , and if they suddenly  developed the ability to do so ,  they would bow their heads in shame for obvious reasons  .

Yours in  hope  for  a fair , just  and  bright future  in South Africa  ,

                                    Sandy   Buchanan .
