I have looked throught the various topics and have read about Mr Venter but not of another  "OPS "Icon, Mrs Castle ? did she move on from Oranjemund ,did she retire there ! anyone ?

Hi Billy
Mr and Mrs Castle retired on the West coast in the Koeberg area.  Mrs Castle passed away many many years ago.  I worked in CDM at the same time that her husband Cassie was a foreman.  Real gentleman he was as well.

Mrs Castle was my Sub A teacher in 1979.  She was a tough old dame and have never forgotten her.  She knew how to get a gaggle of stroppy 6 year olds organised and whipped like a platoon!
