From an informed source : The people from the International School were in Town again this week looking at the school and a future site for a high school with boarding facilities to cater for 500 pupils. They want it to be run by their teachers at their own international standards and allow foreigners to be educated there also...

This is their second visit and they plan to establish two of these International Schools in Namibia, There are currently 64 situated worldwide...... The only problem, is they need the town to be proclaimed first.... This sounds similar to the Hotel Consortium that wanted to establish a multi-million rand(dollar) Hotel complex down at the golf Course on the seaside, but were hesitant due to the proclamation status of the area...

Sigh! Where to from Here?

mind you , us old Oranjemunders have been hearing the High School story since 1972......
