RIP : Anton du Plessis (Doeppie)

I have just heard the sad news that Doeppie has passed away on Sunday.  Just spoke to Petro, his wife.... so very sad. 

He was not in OMund for long  -  used to be with security.  Before moved to OMund he was in the Security Police in Keetmanshoop and he used to come to OMund for police work as well.  I got to know him way back then and later I worked with him in Keetmanshoop, where I also met Petro (she was only a schoolgirl way back then).  I kept close contact with them through all the years and we remained friends. 

His funeral will be held in Bloemfontein tomorrow moring at 11H00

They now resided in Lime Acres where he still worked for De Beers Security.

Rest in piece my friend....  We will miss you deeply!  And my prayers are with Petro, Marcelle and Wynand.
