BOWLS - FRIDAY 17th JULY!

For any of you locals, the Bowling club is having a social bowls evening down at the club on Friday the 17th July.... starting at 17h00..... Now you do not have to have played this fine sport, but if you wish to enjoy a nice evening of social bowls, pop down to the club.... the pub will be open and to top it all of, the weather forecast for Friday is a mild 29 degrees.... which means it will be an awesome evening..... bring a team with you.....

As far as I can remember.... the last night of the reunion at the bowls - Mike A went home before you did Mike V, so...... not much of a challenge for you, is it ?

Alfie ... did not teach me all the tricks......

It was nice to have 16 players playing last night, it was even more impressive that 14 of those 16 were not bowl players...... we also had about 11 spectators....

Derek Swanepoel was back in town and made a turn last night.... Jock and him discussing compressor shop days at Uublvley....

Yes, it was good to see so many non bowlers taking part and enjoying themselves. Lets hope it continues next Friday
