Friday Night Bowls

The Bowling Club will be open for Social Bowls on Friday 24th July. If you have nothing better to do, come and enjoy yourself and have a good game of bowls, and afterwards, have a drink or two at the bar.         

Bowls will start at 19h00, or 7pm if you prefer

Found out this morning that Mike A is not up to the challenge on the sporting front at the Bowling Club tonight..........!!!!!!!!

Dalene, he won't be fading early, he has already faded, he said he'll be staying in watching the TV

Would you believe it, after some friendly persuasion by a certain A Van Rooyen, Mike A spent the evening at the Bowling Club after all, even missing his team get beaten for the third time this season. I do believe though, his team managed to obtain a bonus point.

As to the bowls and with the help of his team, he managed to win all of their games and a good evening was had by all.

It was encouraging to see some other visitors at the club as well. Lets hope that the club can survive this lean time and that the playing membership can grow again
