In the  news today .. Hellen  and her cabinet have  unanimously  chosen not  to  order flashy new cars ..Now hear this one .. the car allowance value  given to MEC's  and  provincial leaders  is  up to 70 %  of their annual salary .. thats disgusting .. in the private sector   its normally  25 %  of salary ,anything over  you have to foot the billl ...
Ms Zille  had to give up her  Toyota Prius ( a good example  of following an environmental  issue  and fuel saving ) when she  finished as mayor of CT .. she now uses a " many years old " mercedes 200 from the Government garage  which has a huge  stock of vehicles  all ready and waiting to be used ,, all her  MEC's   are also using  older vehicles from  GG  stock ... her comment  "I would have liked to keep the Prius  but my security advisors   were against it as it  did not have the power   to get out of  trouble situations ...  furthermore  she said  its  prudent  to use the vehicles available in these austere and financally  troubled timesand not  to waste taxpayers money "
On the other side of the coin   many of the ANC  ministers and MEC's  are  splurging valauble taxpayers money  on flashy  new vehicles .... I THINK THEY SHOULD ALL HAVE  BUMPER STICKERS   THAT SAY " F....K THE POOR "
Where  is  the keeping to their  hollow promises  during those  bus them in , free T shirt and hat ( imported from china ) , free  food ,take a chicken home  Ra  ra  drive into  stupid voting  frenzy  political rallies ??
Again  we will see them waste billions  of our hard earned tax money  and not keep to their promises .. 500 000 jobs ?? with what money ?? when they finished  there will be nothing ..  already the populace  with  some of the hollow promises of the  Zulu boy  and his cohorts  still fresh in their minds   are  now  starting to riot cos their free house water and electricity has not dropped out of the sky ..  hey what about us poor  buggers that have to pay for everything ?? 
THE OLD SAYING OF YOU  REAP WHAT YOU  SOW WILL SURELY  hIT THEM IN THE FACE ... but yes they  will choose to ignore instead  now saying  its a third force  behind the riots ..  bloody  idiots ...
We  wont even go into  JZ's splurge on Kings house in KZN .. a perfectly liveable home  that he would use only occasionally ... its had an upgrade to the tune  of  some  horrendous figure in the multiple millions ,, all  bathrooms fitted with  imported  goodies ... no local .. Cobra put in a tender .. but were  turned down .. so  what about keeping  jobs and  going local ?? furthermore  what about their  so highly  held  BEE  requirements for tenders ... F... ng hipprocrytes ...

Even better  she has  said that Govt should  reconsider the  extravagant car allowances and reduce them  ...  apart from that  no blue light brigades for  any of her MEC's including herself ,  basic security only when travelling  but cut back after hours .. also  to  not use their  corporate  credit cards issued by Govt ,,, now thats setting an example  in these austere and troubled times ..
What these buggers scared of anyhow that they feel  they have to surround themselves with a troupe of Goons .. Mmm they afraid of their pissed of electorate ..

On the news  tonight .. Govt now saying they will review the policy in view of the  extravagant  behaviour  of  some ...  seeing the riots and strikes for  higher wages  increasing ( and one cant blame  them in some way seeing the fatcats that promised  heaven and free everything )  maybe they suddenly getting the message  or  yes  read between the lines of what Ms Zille   said ,, thats its inapropriate   for Govt to be extravagant   when people are going without ..    we wait and see how true they are to this .. may the buggers sweat ...
