Interesting  one ... a colleague of mine  has  just  ended a many years   relationship  because her  partner  mentioned the .. M word , when at the outset she  said marriage was not an option .. she was divorced before ... raised her kids on her own  and is  in her true space of an independent   being ..  they both  moved  out of their  own individual  homes  renting them out and moved into a new space together .. all went well  untill he mentioned the M word .. well it appears  he needs it  and she dont ...  so the lines were drawn and she now moving back to her own home ..  and in talking to her  she  not broken , it was a life  choice she made , wishes a reasonable  compromise could have been reached .. but yes..

I think that marriage is out dated !!!!! there is nothing wrong, if that is what each of them want, we have been married for most of our life's and it works out very well, Margaret lives in NSW and I live here in QLD.

Church religion and the State used to encourage it, 40 years ago having a child out of wedlock was a crime!!! I know many a couple out there around my age would know this.

There's many a young Lassie in them day's lost their life's at the hands of a back street abortionist because (a) their fella would not want to get
married (b) they were to young (18 was the age of marriage) most people are responsible with their lives.

When you see these people with titles like Priests, Bishops, Cardinals Kings Queens 'etc' they remind me of the Monty Python crew and their sill hats sketch !! OK I am off the suject on a ramble here.

In this world today if its legal do it if its not and you think you can change it do it....................
