POWER OUTAGE!



Please note revised date for power outage.



When:                          Sunday, 25 October 2009, 08h00-17h00.



Areas Affected:            Whole of town, Mining Area 1, (Orange River Mines will not be affected).   



Reason:                       Shutdown required for main substation and power line maintenance. 



Please use water sparingly and remember to treat all power outlets as live as the power might be switched on earlier than planned.

Looks like there will be a lot of braai fires on the 25th in our town!!!!  Mike, did you organize it on purpose?  I suggest all Oranjemunders make sure with the authorities if this is true  -  I think this might be a hoax from Mike - just so he's allowed to light the fire!!!!

It sounds as if OTMCo are already using water sparingly according to the lack of watering gardens and grassy areas etc......

No hoax... It is for real, just the reasoning behind the postponement from the 18th to the 25th boggles my electrical mind.
