My observation of Woolies  here  is   hot cross buns  are on offer  many times during the year ...   their quality  is pretty Ok  most times  , and they make a nice treat  sliced in half  lightly toated and buttered ... yummy ... but  yes the early Christmas opportunists  ...  arse

Those Woolies buns, yes I've noticed them all year as well except I think they call them spiced buns or something like that then at Easter they called Hot Cross Buns.
